I daily drive my GX because it is fun to drive and being a lifted Lexus gets lot of compliments while driving it. I used it on a few offloading trips last year and now my nice truck has the noticeable visual scars of doing so. The GX is at the body shop for the ARB bumper install and some cosmetic refresh. I still have my 100 and always use it for any long drives. I get asked often if I am selling the 100 but don't want to because only want a 200 as a replacement and do not want the payments. I would like to be able to join the annual HIH 100 trip in Silverton,Co too. A 100 is a must and there are so many 100 owners who wants to get in but they can only take a few.

Built the bolt on Airbag conversion kit about 5yrs ago for the GX's and also did the OPOR sliders for them. I used a friends for the development work. When my GX came into my fleet at the shop, it quickly became the DD. It stayed even after I got the 16 Taco (no power), I walk past the HJ61, FJ Cruiser, BJ74 and take the GX with out thinking about it.

Top reasons, Visiblitly is outstanding, you can see! The power is addictive and the handeling is outstanding. Properly set up on suspension and large tires it still drives locked in and is maneuverable to park anywhere. My family of 5 + a Pug all fit in it with no issues. The 7 passenger part comes in handy with kids functions as we just load it up.

I like 4th gens, they look good. But the ride, fit and finish and of course the HP of the GX makes it stand out.

Side note too: The GX actually gets better MPG if you drive it with that in mind. This past summer driving from OR to CO, we had a similarly built FJC and my GX in our convoy. Same speeds, hills etc. The GX pulled in a solid 2MPG better than the newer FJC V6. With the best deviation being 4MPG in the flats with a head wind.
