I just noticed Zacks signature line showing 170k on the accord and 230k on his cruiser. We have 4 cars in the driveway My wifes Sienna being the newest a 2004 with 140k, then our commuter car a 92 Camry with 170k, the 92 Cruiser with 213k, and my 87 F-150 with 289K (odometer stopped there 3-4 years ago so thats the last reading I have). As you can see i like to hold onto cars and high mileage for the most part doesn't scare me. I was just wondering if your driveways carried any of the same kind of mileage or are your cruisers the only high mileage vehicles?

Beat this

Cruiser has 326K and the (late) RX300 had 160K at the time of its demise two weeks ago. High mileage on a Toyota scares me not.:flipoff2:

I am starting to get scared about the Sienna 140k of short trips taking kids to the dentist and doctors and football and karate and ballet. We are driving to the Keys this summer and I think I will rent a car for the trip.

My LC has 254K, wifes 02 Beetle has 100K, 88 Chevy pickup has 58K, 06 Dodge 2500 has 199K, just turned in last work truck 98 Dodge 2500 540K and going strong.

Make sure to have the most window tent you can before making that drive!

picture doesnt really do it justice... that was a few hours after exposure... It turned blood red and ended up being a second degree burn with big blisters before getting better.

I heard all about sunscreen my whole life... but I was going on 22 before I started to listen.... I cant count the number of bad burns I have had...

SPF shirts, shorts, and hats are a good idea that drive is miserable after Miami.

No issues with it over the last 60k that we have owned it. But that trip is loooong and all we ever use the van for is around town and the occasional trip to Nashville to see the grandparents. 24 hours of straight driving and there is no telling what could possibly break. Breaking down in the everglades with a 2, 5, and 7 year old and my wife isn't my idea of a vacation. :D

Also my wife is the one driving this thing 99% of the time so I never know anything is wrong with it until I get i'm for a long trip and ask "how long has that belly been squealing? Howe long has the change oil soon light been on?" Etc

Lol looks like you needed a while bottle of sunscreen for the drive. The glades and hwy 1 are actually my favorite part of the drive. The kids get all excited looking for alligators, then you hit that blue blue water. Now I have been on hwy 1 while construction was going on and that is miserable BC there are no alternate routes.
