So after scouring the DPS website I am at a loss. I am considering upgrading my lighting system on the 62 and was hoping to wire all four headlights for low beam and when I go to high beam all four low beam would stay on AND the four high beams would kick in. This would be a total of 8 lights facing forward and I wouldn't worry about any auxilary lighting. My question is "Is it legal to have four(low beam) forward facing lights on in the state of Texas??"

I drive with my low beams on and my factory driving lights...but they are mounted in the valance. Maybe TinStar could give a professional opinion.

I just installed HID lights in my FJ62. Here is my set up - the outer lights are now Hi/Lo Hid lights. They are 35watt HID, at around 3000 lumen. They are controlled just from your OEM wiring harness, and is 100% plug and play.

Of course any aftermarket HID is illegal in all 50 states, but everyone is doing it, and I have them adjusted down so that I don't blind other drivers.

This left my inner lights to be controlled with a dash switch to act as off road lights. I put in a set of 55w HID at 5000 Lumens each, 10K lumens of off road light!! :D

Iam going to do a full right up on the 60 section, and this will be a new product I will be selling at Cruisercrap.com. PM me for your LSLC deep pocket discount... ;)

I need some one to do a review. :)
