I went and tried a different feed store today and when the guy came out with my scratch I was like "dude, sweet", and he was like "no dude, that's sweet" (my fj55)
Turns out he's a 40 owner and he lifted his truck and now his front driveline won't fit. He keeps tags on it but doesn't drive it.
I slipped him my business card and he asked if I'd come have a look at it and tell him what he needs to do to make it right.
I'm eagerly awaiting his call, that sounds like fun.
Make a friend and have someone to go wheelin with.

So i was over at Mudraks today, saw this 55 in his shop, i asked him if he finally broke down and bought one. He said nonit was a build for someone in Alaska. He said this is a very unique truck, probably no another like it, he says it was found in storage, it had been in a mior accident, and was never repaired, 40k original miles, not a drop of rust, when the pulled mats, he said it looked like it was just painted, dash, everything pristine

Took dogs for walk yesterday afternoon. I swear I looked like kid on Christmas story ready for cold. Walking back against wind still wasn’t fun!!

Before long I’ll be soaking in swimming pond on my tube listening to tunes!

Temps been dropping here all day but nothing like those temperatures. IIRC it was around 47 when I got up and is now 33. Something like a 70% chance of snow here on Tuesday so of course the local Publix was full around noon today when I went in. Someone asked me if I was concerned (really?) and I replied that with six 4WD vehicles I wasn't very worried. And when I say 70% chance, that's for 1 to 3 inches.

Kinda the same here too. Started raining about 2pm but the temps have dropped below 30 currently and expected to reach a high of 18 by Tuesday. Snowing like crazy….wife and I tried finishing up the new room so I am picking up a pizza for dinner…there is about 2” on the ground so far…

we get either an 1” or 2” when they predict a big storm and 2 feet when they say “ light snow”. So, you never really know …or care!
With four 4WD vehicles ready to run…actually 2, the garage queens don’t go out in sloppy weather, the pizza is the only guarantee

Not cold here today 38° cold tomorrow not gonna be above teens next 3 days. Snowing right now 5 to 8 which they never get right

Didn’t even realize you all were getting a little snow.

Poor kid who flipped his truck last week after snow started was fine when I stopped to ask that evening. On way to work early next morning some schmuck had stolen the wheels off his truck.

My kids don’t even realize how much more experience they have on snowy roads compared to everyone else.
