Almost zero snow and the weather is a big draw for my wife. She is always cold. And my pig will last a 1000 years without rust in the desert southwest.

Didn’t take it as argumentative at all. Just fun comments back and forth. And my wife really does say she is cold when it is 72 degrees. LOLSo that’s a big yes; that’s why we live here. Not trying to be argumentative.

The Eagles put on a pretty great performance anywhere but the Sphere is mind blowing.
We saw James Taylor several times and always a big venue but a great show. We saw his brother Livingston Taylor at a tiny church with maybe 200 people. Close your eyes and it was almost the same voice…also a great show. I did not know Jim Croce’s son was a touring musician.

Our weather is nothing like it used to be up here. A decade ago the termperature whould change maybe a couple of degrees across a week, now we can see 25 in a day, we were -27 last week (-17F) and will hit -4 today... t shirt weather
Our snow that falls in mid October doesnt melt until mid-MayNeed to send that stuff to AZ! We haven’t had anything for rain or snow since late October

JT has always been one of my favorites. Saw him at larger venue in Tulsa years ago followed by smaller venue that was previously a church. Wife and i sat 2-3 rows back from stage. Incredible experience.
I was big fan (unlike my buddies growing up in the 80’s) of Jim Croce, Dan Fogelberg, Gordon Lightfoot, Cat Steven’s and Harry Chaplin to name a few.
I grew up in the late ‘60s and early 70’s. As a teenager.. concerts and a being a long time guitar player , my duet band focused on ALL of those musicians. We played at the more quiet ski lodges around the area as many were loud and more drinking bars. My buddy Tom had a fantastic voice.
One of my wife and my more memorable concerts was Crosby Stills and Nash. We had 2nd row seats dead center stage. A VERY attractive girl in the front row was passing notes back and forth to Steve Stills. Within 20 minutes a security guy escorts her away…..my wife noticed her back stage on the right side just dancing away. I can only speculate where it went from there
What a terrible tragedy for Harry Chapin. Had a heart attack while driving on the Long Island Expressway

Grand Funk Railroad played at the casino down the road several years ago. No Mark Farner, but Don Brewer was sporting the huge Uncle Sam top hat throughout the show.
My very first concert was The Doors at Dinner Key Auditorium in Miami 1969… I was 15 and what an eye opener…. The hippie movement was developing rapidly …when I walked into the auditorium I saw some VERY odd sites..the most memorable was a guy with that same red white and blue top hat, a cape of the American flag holding a small lamb with the obligatory long hair, beard and black t-shirt… that was a shock to me, a 15 year old transplant to Miami from a 1960’s Catholic school era. Yep nuns with that black habit and their faces wrapped with the white thing, giant crosses and big baggy sleeves with a ruler up one sleeve and a handkerchief up the other. Talk about fear? Likely responsible for my 180* turn around high school rebellions
My very first concert was Motley Crúe at 15…what is that smell, Holly crap the women are half naked…I was raised in the Bible Belt and the whole night was a wild experience.
Yeah, outside of the folk music I sure enjoyed RATT, Molly Hatchet, Night Ranger, Cheap Trick, 38 special.
Had tickets to Motley Crue in 9th grade but of course I had basketball game same night. Parents didn’t seem to understand the importance of the concert like I did. Finally saw them in Denver couple years ago.

With all the snow down South I will share my lunch walk today…just above freezing during the day but so nice in the warm sun, we have not had snow yet this winter.
