Just picked up a 2009 GX470 and am debating on a Viper Alarm 3305 (2 way system). My buddy called a stereo/alarm place for me and the guy asked him, "Why does he want an alarm when you have the factory alarm?" My question is how good is the factory alarm and do you guys feel comfortable with the factory alarm meaning you can sleep safe at night? How can factory alarm be good when it doesn't even go off when window is shattered or door is opened? What other security suggestions do you have? Any input/suggestions would be great.
