Hello!
I inherited my late grandfathers old truck, a Hilux LN65. He bought it new in 1987 and I got it after he passed. I’ve been working on it during the last couple summers, when I’m not in university. It has mostly been sitting in the garage for the last few years because of this, but this summer it’s ready and I plan to use it a lot.
Since I couldn’t remember what it used to sound like I started worrying whether it sounds alright? I did a timing belt replacement last year just before storing it for winter. It was my first time doing it and I’m a medical student, not an auto mechanic. I’ve read some horror stories about timing belt jobs going wrong.
What do you guys think?
