How does a 2F for $650 sound?

I finally found a good used motor to replace mine.

It has 89k and the following compression numbers:
#1: 150, #2:140, #3: 140, #4: 140, #5: 135, #6: 150.

The motor is within 100 miles and will cost $650.

This sounds good to me. Anyone have two cents on this?
 
Is that GOOD compression for a gasssssssssssssssssssssssssssser?

Did you even meet/get ahold of Stewart Levassaur and Tyke Moses in Vermont, those are two guys in VT you should definetely know!

TB isn't the one looking at the 2F, unless vtcruiser60 has a diesel?

Anyway, where abouts are Stewart Levassaur and Tyke Moses in VT? Just curious...might be handy to know some other cruiser nuts in big Verm. ;)
 
Sorry to mislead you with that catchy photo. I am driving a stock FJ60 with tons of white smoke on a tired 216k 2F. I am not a diesel guy....just someone looking to maintain a reliable daily driver.

I did link up with Stuart and he and I were able to work out an arrangement. He is quite a friendly cruiserhead.

I located the used motor from jim at toycruiser.com. Someone on the board referred me to him.

So....do those compression numbers and price sound ok?

Uh no, Im a diesel NUT forever. I'll never buy a gasser anything (short of a 911 Turbo) again.

If those are good numbers (my 1HZ posted six nubmers over 600 psi) then I say go for it. That's cheap for an engine isnt it?
