right click the image, the properties will give you the link information....
for instance, your avatar is: https://forum.ih8mud.com/avatars/avatar100_0.gif
then, type in [ IMG ]https://forum.ih8mud.com/avatars/avatar100_0.gif[ /IMG ], removing the spaces, and the image will appear.
Many sites, including 'MUD, have "bandwidth control" features in place which limit hot-linking images to other sites....it doesn't always work...
