How do you know if it is time to replace rear factory air bags?

I just bought a 2008 with 122k miles and the dealer said the rear bags may need to be replaced. I have been driving it with no issue or sag. How will I know if they ever need to be replaced? I will never raise or lower the vehicle so I was wondering...And no I don't ever want to replace bags with coils. I like keeping the vehicle 100% stock.

Thanks!

In the morning after it’s been parked overnight, listen for the air compressor turn on to fill the bags because they leaked air.

Or see if the truck is leaning low on one side. When you turn it on, the air compressor will go on.

This is oneway to know that an air bad is leaking.

Or go off-roading and when you are riding on the bumpstops. You’ll know the bags might be gone

Thank you. That is very helpful!

Why do you say you will “never raise or lower the vehicle”?
If you’re referring to the adjustable height switch that controls the airbags in the rear, I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to “exercise“ them and take advantage of the different heights for different applications...
Great way to find out if their still working.
