How do you attach an LSPV gauge to the AHC bleeders without letting air in fluid/out?

I've done the sensor lift, so I'm guaranteed to have my AHC neutral pressure out of spec. Not to mention 130k miles of normal wear on the springs and tbars.

I got the pirated techstream cable working once but also picked up a virus. Can't get it working again so I bought an LSPV gauge.

I see the AHC bleeder valves, but if I take those out... the suspension will dump its fluid until that corner bottoms out right? I mean that's exactly how you flush the AHC fluid..

So do I jack up the vehicle until the AHC is not carrying weight? But then, what if air gets in?

Do I basically have to do this while doing a flush?

I've basically read all AHC threads ever and I see some people have used the gauges. Your advice would be appreciated!

You have to bleed each corner you put the gauge on. You need only one front and one rear.

Suggested method:
Put it in Low,
replace the bleeder with the gauge adapter,
start engine and put the ahc in Normal
bleed through the gauge's bleeder
check ahc fluid level
cycle to Lo and back to N
read pressure.
After replacing the bleeder you have to bleed even more carefully to get all air out. If pressure is read with air in the lines, it will still give the right reading, but you don't want to cycle Lo-Hi with air in there.

I suggest driving up on some small blocks (4") to get easier access under there.
For the front, make sure the steering wheel is straight.
Keep an eye on left-right lean when you tighten the TBs.

Or: Just reinstall techstream on another old laptop.

Thanks SO MUCH for this information!

So it is a sketchy as I imagined... It does seem like I should do whatever I can to get the less sketchy but still sketchy bootleg techstream working.

I have some major weight showing up over the next few months / the lift has really killed my suspension so this is way up high on my priority list.

Hopefully future searchers will be able to find this thread if they want to go the LSPV route.
