Time to build a smoker out of a 120 gallon tank... why not!!!!

First thing, i need help getting this thing moved to my house...

Anyone available this weekend?!?

I have the shop, the power to feed a welder, and some storage space. Bring it on! Oh, bring the welder - mine is on the IR for now.

I'm good with using Zach's shop.... The tank is located in South Huntsville off the parkway in Sockwell.

I can possibly get a trailer to move it (instead of loading it in the back of a truck).

Plan for Sunday morning?

I've got a 5x8 trailer I can bring if you can't get one lined up.
I probably need to take off the back gate to make it fit.

i’ll bring my trailer. Mines long enough we won’t have to take anything apart to fit the tank...and saves Jason from dragging an empty trailer around so much.

What’s the goal for Sunday? Just get it to Zach’s....or start laying out the build?

When it comes time, we can use my welder if we want. Needs a 20A 110 V line if you have one.

Let's get it moved, lay out what else we need and how we might go about obtaining the missing pieces. Then we can schedule some work days

I have a 6x12 dovetail trailer with a winch, 3500 pound brake axle under it, and a ramp that might be a little easier to work with for moving the tank. If anybody has a sheet of plywood to lay on the mesh ramp, we could probably just skid it on the trailer. I’ll be available to help with the move Sunday as well. And I live down here near Sockwell Drive. Let me know what you think.

The one I was planning on bringing is a 16’ equipment trailer. I’ve got a few things I need to do with it Sunday so I don’t mind using mine.
