Anyone have a propane burner that we can hook up to this thing to burn off the leftover gas?

I have a heater. Does it have the normal BBQ tank size threads?

We were thinking of just opening the valve and filling it with water

I'm all for the water fill idea to purge it. Seems like the fitting was a -6 JIC, but I'll check the fitting when I get home.

I have the burner from the fire place... i believe we left the extension line on the tank.. that should burn off...

We have tried to get 3 or 4 different trailers and they are all gone by the time we get a response on craigslist including the one above.
If anyone has a lead, chime in ASAP. Text or call me or Chris b/c these things move fast in the $200 range

Since the ride was canceled this weekend do we want to get this tank burned off? Do we need to stand around it drinking some beers to make sure it is depleted safely?
