I appoligize in advance if someone has already posted a thread about this. i looked around and didnt find one so maybe im the first. So heres my problem. I have a 96 cruiser with 168,000 miles.
While in reverse, My truck makes a horrible noise which seems to be coming from the transmission. I think it happens if i dont give the truck an extra second or two once its been shifted into reverse. For example, If i come to a stop , put it in reverse, and then gas it. quickly, the horrible sounds is there. Im not sure if i can actually back up while its making that sound becuase i have never stayed on the gas. Now if I put it in reverse and then wait a second or two before i reverse it, then everything seems fine. ANY IDEAS?? IS MY TRANS ABOUT TO BLOW!!
