Horn button vibration noise (1 Viewer)

on my 91 lj78 there is annoying vibration noise coming from my horn button.
I would like to remove the horn button and fix what ever is causing the noise but Im afraid of breaking the face plate trying to get it off. It looks like it is supposed to just pull off.
is that all there is to it ?

There should be a screw on the back of the wheel that will allow you to take the cover off. Once that is out it just pulls off and you should be able to see what is causing the noise.

Not much to the horn button must have been the two plastic retainer pins vibrating.

I recently fixed a LOT of vibrations by swapping out the motor mounts and adjusting the idle point.

Glad you sorted out the horn button vibration.

Thanks for the feed back. I think the plastic retainer pins are just getting
old and brittle. Im going to put wedges in them. When it stops snowing Ill go for a drive and see if its fixed.
if I still have the noise Ill have to go back to wedging a popsicle stick in the gap between the wheel and horn button.
