Im in the middle of reading a book (The Great Race) about the first great automotive race from New York to Paris in 1908.
Several cars from many countries participated and its amazing what they had to go through. Many people had never seen a car before back then - especially in the hinterlands.
I wont tell you who won but the Yanks are favored
