Hoosier Hoedown and MUD Midwest Summer Picnic (and the FJ Trail Team again)

I wanted to let every one know that we must have made a good impression on the FJ Trail Team at our last event. They would like to fill their calendar in August with one more ride event with the Hoosier Cruisers.

August 25th, 26th and 27th at the Badlands the FJ Trail Team would like to come and get down and dirty. (GOD willing no hail or tornados this time)

This event is in preparation to make the Hoedown a TLCA santioned event next year.

So come out and join the fun.

Jimmy,
I'll be there Friday night late, I'll leave here after work. Sounds like a great time. Camping at Carrols or at the Badlands?

Sounds great- but lets spell it right.

dictionary.com says....

hoe·down Audio pronunciation of "hoedown" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (hdoun)
n.

1. A square dance.
2. The music for a square dance.
3. A social gathering at which square dancing takes place.

Timmy and I are in.

We'll be there again Friday--though we'll get there late night as well and stay through the weekend.

Sounds like a good plan as always...

Hail Deth!!

I should be getting my LC back this week and hope to have my bumper done befor then.

I passed the info along to my local dealership to hopefully get some Chambana FJ customers out there. I gave them the link to the Badlands website for directions, etc, and noticed there's a full size heep gathering that very weekend. I'll try and find a replacement "Attach Stuck Jeeps Here" for my new bumper...

Jimmy, let me know if you need any help getting this event together.

We will probably need to lean on a few people to help out in order to make this thing come off as smoothly as possible. This is going to be our first event and we can expecta few issues, but we are also trying to build up to an annual event and don't want to appear like the amateurs that we are.

Jimmy and I are going to Slade this weekend to meet up with Bluegrass and a few Rice On The Rocks guys for some wheeling and we'll talk there about what we need to make this successful. We would definitely appreciate anyone who is willing to step up and help us with what they can. By Monday evening we'll have a list of what we need and we'll post it in this forum so those who are interested and able to help can select what they can follow through on.

Even though Tim and I are from OH., we are more than willing to help in any way possible.

Let us know. We are in either way.

We feel more a part of the IN. cruiser folk than we do in the OH. group....don't tell them that...

Onur,
I truly appeciate it. I'll let you know what's needed, and then you can decide what you can contribute. I'm bummed for you on your bad news on the job front, but things truly happen for a reason and I think this reason is because there are better things instore for you. This is for you!
