FJ Cruiser Runs Trails with Hoosier Cruiser during April Event @ Badlands

Hoosier Cruiser members and guest,

Hello all. Well I thought I would break tradition on this event and get the word out 2 months in advance of our first wheeling event. Since the club decided to make GSMTR an official event club this year, we needed an event prior to GSMTR to get prepared. During the January ’06 tech session we decided to make April 15th a shakedown event in preparation for Murphy, NC. Some of us can’t wait, I know I can’t.

Additionally, and the main reason I’m sending this out two months in advance is because GPJ, a company working with Toyota to promote the new FJ Cruiser, asked our club if they could joint our event. GPJ asked if they could tag along with us on our ride event. Of course we could not turn down an opportunity like this. The FJ Cruiser Trail Team will be bringing one, maybe more, FJ Cruisers on the trails with us. We’ll get to experience how the new vehicle will perform on the trails. If you’ve been reading Toyota Trails you have noticed that the new FJ ran the Rubicon.

The club is going to extend the offer to anyone in the surrounding area to come and joint the event. IL, OH, KY, MN, MI, and anyone else that might want to joint this event. Rice on the Rock, Bluegrass Cruisers, and the kids from Chicago have all attended one of our events in the past year(s). We want to extend the offer again and would like you to attend this event and experience the new FJ Cruiser on the trail.

Okay, now back to the particulars:
What: April Shakedown Wheelin event in preparation for GSMTR

Place: Badlands Off Road Park in Attica, IN.

Date: April 15th and 16th

Time: muster in between 9am and 10am of April 15th.

Location @ Badlands: Upper Parking area.

Campground Location: Summers Carroll Campground, 7 miles north of Badlands.

Food: I’ll send out an email one month prior to ask who can bring what for the event.

We hope to see everyone at the event.

Sincerely,
Jimmy Klubens

Thanks for the invite, sounds like it'll be a great chance to see the FJC in person!

Unfortunately, that's Easter weekend...it'll be tough to escape from family committments...

Hmmm..I may have to try and clear this with the boss!

I'll be there.

Will have just moved into new house, but Tim and I will try to make it once more for some good ole Indiana wheeling.

Thanks for posting Jimmy.

Cheers.

Onur,
Hope you, Kirk and Tim can make it. You definately won't be disappointed for what's in store for the weekend.
We REALLY want everybody that can make it to come out and join us with the FJ.

BTW, if there are poeple in OH that you can inform, that don't frequent MUD, about this event please do so. Clint will be putting up an announcement in the Trails section very shortly.

Thanks Jimmy.

I'll pass this along to the rest of the OH crew when we meet up to wrench on the 18th in Columbus (which you all are welcome to crash too!!)

Best regards.

Looks like I may be able to go after all. I really like my wife ;) .

No No No, thats love Benji. You love your wife:flipoff2:

Great, we'll see ya there.

I think us OH folks might make this a club event and convoy on out.

Tim and his wife are in, as well as myself (doubt the GF...she doesn't dig these things too much).

We'll be talking this Saturday at our Wrench gathering.

Cheers.
