Anyone in cotton land added any to their hood? Is it worth cutting up a perfectly good hood?

totally worth it.
your hood won't sear your hand when you go to wipe something off the windshield, and when you have a burrito on the manifold warming up while you are the tailgunner, it's real easy to know when it's ready.

I found a set of the GXP louvers online and it came with the drip tray also, but didnt use those cuz "mo flo, mo bettah"

but yeah, watching the heat rise out of there is pretty cool. that and the fan mod and my truck is running way cooler. Gives the engine bay somewhere to expell all of that instead of right into the footwell and firewall.

Hell just put a hood scoop on it. I saw some at Auto Zone the other day!

careful, it's a slippery slope:

yeah, his rig is sick.
I checked into getting a fab shop to punch the real louvers into my hood, turns out to be way more complicated than I thought.
plus, almost nobody has the 5" size louver to do it.
And, you have to send the hood out for a bit, and then totally paint it when done. Wasnt sure how I'd drive home three hours and return hoodless...

I love the look, but a drill and skill saw and some double sided bionic tape and I was done.

of course my hood needs paint, but the patina look is trending, so hey look at me now!
