Hood struts: LC vs. LX parts

Hi folks!

I have a 2011 LX and need new hood struts.

I bought the Toyota ones 3 years ago (p/n 5344069145, 5345069145) ($73 each).

I remember reading somewhere on Mud (but now can't find it)... that the Lexus ones are stronger because the Lexus hood is heavier (more insulation)?

The Lexus part numbers are 5344069155, 5345069155 ($90 each).

Does anyone know for sure? If Lexus are stronger / more appropriate, I'll buy those. If not, I'd rather avoid the Lexus tax.

Note that part numbers are the same, but struts that were front end were simply switched to the rear and vice-versed on the other end. Go with the buying the Toyotas and switch ends when you install. More than obvious.
