Hood Scoop

Have an 07 Taco Sport Edition
It has a hood Scoop and wondering if anyone knows how to make it functional. Not worried about the dirt as I can wash it off, and live in the hot central valley of Kali, just wanting more air flow to keep under hood stuff alittle cooler.

It is just the stock Toyota hood with factory hood scoop.

Hood scoops aren't meant for cooling, they're for induction. Vents at the back of the hood or cowl might help temps.

I'd say leave it alone or get a better fan, maybe take a look at the cooling system if you're having troubles.
