I'm planning on taking out 4 dents in hood that were caused by golf balls. None of the dents are severe - maybe no more than 3mm deep. Am I OK to fill this with normal bondo or should I be using something else that will be withstand the hood being slammed shut etc?

I would get a body shop hammer and dolly and pop them out as best you can and then go with a bit of bondo, If they are more than surface divots I don't think filling with bondo would last..You can get a cheapo but useful set of hammers and dollys at Harbor Frieght, they are handy to have around and generally quite easy for us amateurs to use especially on the hood. I'm talking about a 40 hood, can you easily access the underside where your dents are?

Thanks Captn,
I see HF has a set for $35. I will pop down and one pick up. It's pouring with rain at the moment so I am not sure how many of the dings I can access from underneath I know I can get at 2 at least.
I have never used a hammer and dolly set before so this should be a nice little intro project.
