Good lawd.

Dropped the oil out of the 40. First oil change since 2003. STFU. it had all of 15 miles through it.

Must have been 2-3 gallons of gas in the pan. Damn stuff almost over flowed the 15 quart oil catcher.

New fuel pump is ordered. 130 bucks from the dealer if anyone cares. Yeah I heard from Jim C about the diaphram. 130 bucks and 25 mins too late. Oh well.

Good news is the new MTRs are on. Steering is worse than ever..... Tightend up the steering adjustment at the manual drive box. made it a bit better. Noticed it was bone dry. Put in the 90 weight to watch it all seep out pretty quick. New Permatex gasket and its sealed up and full again. tightened up the center arm. bit better, probably need a rebuild on that too.

Got the 8274 mounted. looks nice. Got new welding cables for the power and ground. Nice and fast. No smoking so that is good.

Fall is here, Frost on the roof today. Plates expire in 28 days. Hope the fuel pump gets here fast.

That is all to report.

Pics when I feel like it. Off to Tampa tomorrow for a meeting. 6 hours in the plane for a 6 hour meeting.....

Glad someone else in the club has a laundry list to tackle also.

Yeah, I thought about straining it and putting it back in the gas tank, but then I dont think Jim would approve of that crap going through his shinny rebuilt carb.

Dealer called me today, Pump is in, Funny how they said it was in LA and would take a few days.

Too bad I am in Tampa until tomorrow. Well not too bad since is almost Miller time. 81 and lots of sun.

New pump is in, all is well. Steering a bit better, leaking from the pitman arm seal now.

I have done some test driving, its nice. its nice, now to put it a way for the winter.

Most of the RDB stuff is on its way, need the lines and calipers. birthday is coming though.

Middle of the state, average about 50 inches of snow. twice what Cbus gets, less than the coast. Called lake effect. where I grew up Traverse City Mi, it would be nothing to wake up to 12 inches or more of the white stuff over night.

Since I dont have a full top of any kind, and the hard doors I have need to be gone through I am not going to drive this in the winter. Plus salt up here is 5 times worse than C bus.
