Nice :D

I thought that area 5 is still closed... I guess not.

Not sure. It's gray on the map.. The hudner property is closed. That was the only closure the ranger mentioned. Anyhow, we went and entered through the upper ranch entrance gate at vineyard school. Headed up through sycamore camp, up hidden valley Dr to chapparal trail, came down the hill top climb, down five fingers, then up mccray rd to bonanza gulch, which is were this gully trail was. Somewhere between McCray and bonanza, near the 4 way intersection (which seems to have a ridiculous looking obstacle course near it!). I'm pretty sure jcardona posted a video of his line through this same gully exit, but I forget the name...
Anyhow, pretty mild day due to the late afternoon and my bro was driving Marley and stayed on the green and blue "trails" (read graded gravel and dirt roads that your grandma could get her cadi through! ;) :flipoff2:
Would be fun to spend a whole day exploring and have fun! (Would like to go up five fingers and check out the 90% of black diamond trails I didn't get to see...)

That sounds like a typical Hollister hills day... Was there mud on the playground? I believe Jose went to the tank trap and that might be too rough on my rig:D....

We might be going there as well in a couple of weeks...:D:mad:

Lol!! Yeah, I googled it for some videos and it looks way too intense. The gulley I ran was pretty dang steep sides and lots of articulating! Plenty of 3 wheeling and even two wheeling :steer: wish I had a spotter!!
Jcardona: do you remember the trail you did in the video you posted where you bumped up the final obstacle? I'm pretty sure it was the same as my pic, or so it seemed)

I need sliders really bad before i go back to prarie city. especially if i plan on going to Hollister.

Good to see your putting your 80 to work a lot lately.

im heading up tonight to go snow camping and to try out my new RTT.

Yes you do! Mine paid for themselves yesterday!!

Where ya going? I want to get out soon for some camping!! I think some peeps were talking about either snake lake and/ or death valley soon!!

We went to kyburz, but our road was closed. So we went back down 50 and went up icehouse road and I knew of a little area to stop for the night. There's no snow. It was either muddy slush, crunchy ice patches, black ice or poop. And lots of mud. Ih8mud!!!
But it was still fun. Hope it actually snows soon. We need the melt bad!!!
