stop pullin' wires....lift the E- brake one notch before starting truck and ...poof...no lights

To get even more access, pull the small plastic body plate just below the driver's headlamp bezel. It pulls straight forward and is retained by one push clip and a couple of molded in tab clips. Be careful when pulling so as not to break any plastic tabs. The DRL connector is directly behind this plate and you can reach in from the front, and from the top to get two hands on the little devil.

any of you remember the guy that started this thread? lol

wow you're effin brilliant!!! thanks! and thanks to you too Dragon, thats an awesome little write up you did... i'm jsut too damn lazy for that ish.

I guess you could ordered a spare connector and use it as a switch lead. In otherwoeds connect the male of the spare to the female of the original, repeat with the other side, and run the wires from the spare to a switch.
Anyone know how to find a part number?
