Does anyone have photos of the interior ( seats ) in a 1985 or 1986 HJ75 pickup. I looked at a 1985 model today that had fairly thick valour seats. The seats were so bulky that it severly reduced the available leg room even with the seat pushed fully rearward. Could these possible be the original seats. Sorry I was unable to photo the seats that I am referring to.

Not sure, but people often complain that the 75 series cab/chassis have limited leg room, and that the slightly extended cab in the 79 series makes leg room much better.

Thanks for the reply. I am only 5' 10" tall and I could just barely fit in that thing. The passenger floorboard appeared to have considerably more legroom than the driver side (RHD) but that could have been an illusion. Thanks...................1978HJ45

Thick velour seat don't sound standard, were they covers on the standard vinyl seats, or replacement seats?

I am fairly sure the seat is actually valour and is not just covering the original seat. As a matter of fact there is some type of animal fur ( real or fake) covering the valour seats.

Dont think they are origional. Every one I have ever seen has had the vinal seats other than one with aftermarket seats.

I am 6'3" and leg room is a problem (1991 HZJ75 trayback). 2-3 more inches would be great like in the newer ones. I have the seat back as far as it will go but it means the back is a bit straight.

In the troopie I dont find it a problem. I can put the seat back and then recine it slightly.
