I have a tool bag that's been stripped off most things and no jack or wheel brace so I'm trying to work out what I will need to replace for the standard 70's tool kit. Anyone know what the black square thing is for.

Hoser your correct.
I just went and checked it out again and discovered its got Nissan stamped on it so into the shed it goes never be seen near my Landcrusher.
