Wanted HJ61 or HZJ77

So I rolled and totalled my HJ61. I loved the thing but now it is time to move on and get myself into a another rig.

I understand these are two not so common Land Cruisers but I am posting this anyways.

I would love either HZJ77 or HJ61.

My only real requirement for them is to have a 5-speed manual. If it already has diff locks all the better, as goes with a winch.

its going to be a tough time finding a nice one in either of those.

Yes I know. I know you are after the HZJ77 yourself but I'm thinking of getting a simpler one with a five speed and low kms otherwise they are too expensive with all the options. That way I will have spare cash for a turbo and later down the road lockers and winch.

I loved my 61 and if the perfect one came up I might jump on it but right now I wouldn't mind something different from what I had. Besides, nothing in my mind can compare to the lines of a 70 series.

I'm already looking at importing one but if one popped up nearby i'd be lying if I said I wouldn't consider it. The problem is they seem cheaper to import and doing what you want to it than finding one that's landed here.

Question ForealBoreal: Is your dads rig turbo'd? if so I would like to ask some questions.

Thanks but I am preferring the HZJ77 over the HJ61 at the moment and I think I found one.

The HJ61 was a glorious rig but ultimately I want something different

Thanks for the offer chet but I believe I have successfully tracked down a 77 but just have to wait until earl march to get it
