Hj47 seatbelt

Hey all,

I recently acquired a 1985 hj47 ute and I was hoping to get some pictures on where the seat belt is suppose to go. Is it a retractable seat belt or not? as the ones in it currently are non retractable. But Im not sure whether that is the original seat belt or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I’m sorta in the same boat. Not finished with mine either. Mine has them but a 40 guru that’s working on mine says these aren’t factory. Wish I could offer some advice

Im no expert on the matter but it does depend on market of origin and year. Us imports 64-67 did not have 3pt provisions. Canadian market did but not sure if for all years. Folks have sourced canadian tops for the oportunity to run them. Mine is a canadian 77 and has the captured nut and hardware to do so. Does your top have this bolt and or captured nut? If so id say yes.

Edit. Quick hands Mike beat me too it. And to prevent confusion i switched sides in the pics left then right to get away feom the glare. The forward most bolt in rhe curved panel.

Thanks for the reply. Mine definitely doesnt have those bolts. The bolt spot is more to the left. Tomorrow I'll take a pic and upload so you guys can see.

I think mine is for the general market.
