Hj45 timing belt question

Is there a timing belt on a 1980 hj45? There has to be one right?
All diesel engines have one?

No! Some have them. I know my 3B does NOT have one. It's all gears and I think the "H" series and "F" series engines are too!

does a 2000 hz motor have timing belt and if so when should I change it at what kms?

The H motor in your HJ 45 won't have a timing belt, it's all metal gears in that timing case, the 2H motor is the same. as for a 1HZ, it's recommended that the timing belt be changed every 100,000 kms.
