HJ 60 driveline vibration

Hi Guys,

I recently bought my first cruiser, its an 83 HJ60. I've noticed that at about 85 -90 KPH there is a vibration that I think may be coming from the driveline. It's not felt through the steering so I don't think its as simple as an out of balance wheel. A local garage had a quick look and reported movement in the drear diff flange. Any ideas?

Also the transfer lever rattles, not really a problem but it bugs the hell out of me, is there a fix?

My question was more to do with any other potential causes I may need to investigate so I can address them when I pull the diff out.

check the u-joints

if you do your ujoints, have the drivelines balanced and straightened while your at it. chances are they will need it...
