Got 04 LC, 105K driven by the wife lately. A week ago pretty loud grinding like sound from the back of the car started happenning when you hit the breaks or drive slowly. No sound at freeway speed. Car stopped fine. Front pads/disks were done in June, 2012.
Took the car to the dealership where it is always serviced. They said that one caliper is frozen and the other is "sticky". So replaced pads/disks/calipers.
There is still sound coming out from the rear/passenger side also it is not as profound - more like loud hissing noise. Happens again at low speed.
I doubt that this is due to pads settling in. What can it be?
