Anyone used a HiLift on stock bumpers? I'd like to add an option to the wimpy bottle jack, but reaaly wonder if the HiLift will work w/ a stock front bumper - the rear looks like maybe it should, sides - too much curve. Any experience? and no, of course there's not a local shop to tey one.

Use it only if you'd like to rip off the plastic and have an excuse with the wife for an ARB. All kidding aside, there isn't any place to place the Hi-lift on a stock bumper. Rear side caps are pure plastic too.

don't underestimate those bottle jacks. they are great.

the highlift can work in the receiver bar for your tow hitch. it won't be safe but it won't do any damage. Otherwise you could jack it under the exposed metal on the centre part of the bumper that is really the rear cross member. Just remember never to get under a truck on a high lift and to throw any wheels you take off under the truck in case it gives out.

if you jack on the side rockers you will dent the rockers. Can't speak for the front as I've nevr owned a stock bumper.
