Looking for any info on snow depth and conditions up Highway 4 past Big Trees. Iam looking to go up weekend after this.

Stanislaus NF apparently doesn't post road conditions on their website...



A bit north of there, much of the backcountry is still under snow, believe it or not...

I read that Ebbets Pass is open as of this weekend.

As of last week Caltrans did not say the road was closed for winter.

I heard Ebbets opened up.

The pass is open! Fished Lake Alpine Monday and saw plenty of traffic headed over the hill.
