When my 2005 LC hits 75-80 mph I start hearing an intermittant hum. It's coming from the driver's side engine bay. Hard to locate because it will not hum unless I'm at high speed! Anyone else experience this?

Yep, I know that well. Repacked front wheel bearings, replaced both CV axles, U-joints, then both driveshafts, upper and lower lear suspension links, transfer case, put that thing back on the frame, removed Belly skid and replaced with stock tranny mount. Removed and reinstalled diff drop. Balanced tires. Got an alignment. And a bunch of other things I don't recall. It cost me about a 1/4 of what I paid for the truck.

Then again maybe your hum isn't as bad as mine.

I assume you got rid of the hum after all that? Were you ever able to pinpoint the cause?

My hum was between 50-70. It turned out to be ujoints. I had tires balanced and front bearings changed with no resolution until the ujoints went in.
