Ok, so my 85 60 was in pefect tune last week, 650 RPM at idle, with none or hardly any vibrations coming through the steering wheel etc. Then it got reaal cold and it started idling at around 900 and was a little rough. I figured it was a phase and was probably due to the cold so I left it alone. Well today it was back into the 20's and it was still idling at 900, yet was slightly less rough. I checked around in the engine bay and found no vacume leaks, changed the fuel filter and rotor (I put in new plugs about 2 weeks ago), and it was still high, so I turned it down via idle adjustment screw, and got it back to 650, but it still runs a little rough. What gives?? I was thinking of taking it in to get the valves and timing adjusted. Perhaps this will help??

Is there an idle up solenoid for air con in there?
there is but it only effects your idle while the ac is on

I figured it out today, the vacume operated valve for the A/C (or whatever it is) was stuck partially open. I'm assuming that it had condensation or something of the like in it, and it froze after I last used it -which was the day before this all started- Today I just pulled off the vacume hose, gave the valve a little tap with my screwdriver, and then put the hose on and off of it a few times to make sure it was opening and closing correctly. The cruiser once again idles at its normal buttery smooth 650 RPM. Yay!:D

well my thought was that it could be stuck since 900 rpm is about right for the idle up. I wasn't sure if the petrol 60's had them though.
sorry was thinknig of the adjustment screw
