High idle (1 Viewer)

I have a 1995 T100 214,000 mi
I'm pulling a hot 02 senser code
The truck idles at 2000rpm even after warmed up. I can punch the gas and it will drop down to about a 1000 rpm for a split second. When I'm driving it drives great, has plenty of power. I can tap on IACValve and it will drop down to 1500 rpm until I give some gas.
Any ideas

I did take throttle body off and IAC valve cleaned both. IAC was really dirty.

What motor do you have? I had the issue with my 3.4 L and fixed it by doing this: http://www.yotatech.com/f2/my-high-idle-cured-258318/ Hope it helps you.

Thanks for the link. Mine in the T100 was idling high and we ended up putting a spring on the TB to close the blade completely because it wasn't closing and caused the high idle. Maybe my issue was it being off center. My IAC was clogged as well as the TB. My idle is fixed with the spring, but I don't like the way that it causes the TB to close so fast causes it to not be smooth shifting between gears, etc.
