Hi all, my '03 LC (85k miles) sometimes has a fast idle (~1k) when coming to a stop. Sometimes it will go back down to 6-700, but sometimes it will just stay at 1k until I drive off. Sometimes, it idles normally at stops, but sometimes it is high.

Temps have been in the 40's near me, but never had this problem.

Thanks

Since it's intermittent , this might be a good time for a TB/MAF cleaning job. Takes about a half hour beginning to end, roughly a  job if you've never done it before. There is a good how-to in the FAQ. Run to the local autozone and grab some MAF cleaner and TB cleaner - everything else is just simple hand tools and a rag or old toothbrush. Give that a shot and report back with the results. If it doesn't solve the issue than I'd start checking hoses for vacuum leaks, but that's not as likely due to the fact that it's not a constant problem.

Ok thanks, I'll give that a shot. Hope it fixes it!! I know it had the TB cleaned for its 60k service about 15k miles ago...surprised it would get dirty already!
