Putting this up to see who is interested in making a day run this saturday to Hidden Falls.

I know Brett is going up on thursday and Josh is looking at going up friday.

For those like myself and Kelly that only want to make a day trip post up here and lets see if we can come up with a roll out time and place so we can convoy up. Maybe do breakfast before we leave that morning.

Looking forward to it :bounce:

depending on weather i may do the day thing also. what time saturday are you planning on leaving?

Im not sure just yet on what time we will leave. Julie doesnt get off till 0900 Sat. morning. She is going to try and get off earlier. If she cant then we'll be about 10:00 being able to get on the road. If she gets off early it will be around 0800 or 0900 that we can leave.

Weather looks nice. Friday night in the 50s, 20% of showers. Sat. looks like high low 70s, 30% chance showers.

I may be in for a run - first one in over a year! Need to see what Cindy has plans for us this weekend.

Alright stuff is working out. Looks like we will be ready to go around 0800. We can meet up on the north side (281/1604/Stone Oak) area between 0815-0830 and leave from there if yall want. Im thinking we can meet, grab food or coffee and get on the road.

What do yall think?

weather is not looking good at all so camping is probably out for us. its not going to stop raining all week and into the weekend, it will be one sloppy mess. im going to play it by ear

I looked at the weather a little while ago. Big change from what it was showing yesterday.

We're still probably going to go, but now the dog is staying home. Dont want to have to deal with a water loving Lab all day.

Who is still interested in going up for the day tommorow? Weather may be a little less than perfect but it's still a ride and hitting trails.

come on nat...its only rain. It will make you feel alive. isn't it like 30 minutes for you anyways?

we will be heading out about 10, meet around 281 & 1604

More like 2 hours..... I have plenty to do in my garage and home...
Need to start tearing apart my Z3 and finish cleaning the front rooms of the home.

Is it really because there's a bunch of land cruisers and rovers gonna be there ;)

next time then bud

I am getting ready to head on up there. What is a little flash flooding when you drive a Land Cruiser?

:hillbilly:

Well we went. The weather was nice. A few bits of rain but none lasted more than 15-20 mins. Even had sun a few times.

But the wet ground and mud changed everything. Now I know why some parks say that rain takes trail levels up 1 or 2 ratings. Had a blast but it definitely challenged my skills and ability. Only casualty for me was torn off front mud flap. And almost rolling. Caked up all terrains, heavy pig of a truck and slick as ice mud dont mix.

Still had a great time.

I should have gone... :(
No real rain here either.... at least I was able to spend time to work on my Z3.

Always next time. Weather turned out great it was the ground conditions that sucked.

Kelly has a bunch of pics including me winched by 2 Land Rovers tokeep the 80 from flipping. Good times.

I was taking pictures for Max. He said he would bring his card to the next meeting so I could upload them for him. I think he meant Jen, I am not very techy. :whoops:
