Hi folks, I have some HID Xenon lights and equipment I'd like to part with. I'm asking $20 MUD price for the lot and it would be great if anyone in Wilmington or surrounding area wanted and could come pick it up. Or if you will be travelling to the area soon, I can hold it for you. If no interest I'll throw it up on craigslist.
This is off of my '89 FJ62 and I really did like the output of the lights, however they started to give me trouble a few months ago. I traced it back to the wiring harness controller being bad (8pin controller). The PO installed the system and being that I'm not super familiar with HID, I decided to convert back to stock sealed beam. I'm holding on to my relays and other "stuff" that was hooked in with the HID lights to possibly use for other lighting in the future.
So here is what I have:
- 2 6000K H4 Hi/Lo (2800 Lumens / 35 watt) bulb with housing. This will be your outer of the 4 FJ62 headlights used for normal driving conditions.
- 2 6000K H1 (5000 Lumens / 55 watt) bulb with housing. These will be offroad only "inner" lights of the 4 FJ62 headlights.
- 2 Electronic balasts and 2 slim balasts
What you'll need to complete a system:
- Wiring harness
- Relays
- Controller
- Toggle switch for your dash (or wherever) - offroad lights.
- Maybe more, I'm no expert!
I do have some wiring diagrams and such I'd be glad to provide - some of which are off MUD, but some of these are specific to how mine was setup... still may be helpful.
