I guess this question is for guys in Canada.
Has anyone bought the Motormaster Hi-Lift style Jack from Canadian Tire? The reason I ask is because I want to get a jack and they (Cdn. Tire) has a 48" Motormaster Hi-Lift (farm) Jack for sale next week for I believe it's either $45 or $50.
Any comments on how it compares to a real Hi-Lift?

X2 on Johns comment, the only good ones are either "Jackall" (made in Canada) or "HiLift" (made in USA) and have their names cast into the bodies. Please don't put any faith in offshore jacks (or any other rigging gear made there), they just don't have the quality control, but they can sure make something that LOOKS like something good!

Mastercraft makes decent tools . Personally i have a jackall , i would buy another jackall . I would have to look at the mastercraft unit to make
jugement .

I bought my 60" High Lift at Princess Auto for $60 - they sell both the Chinese knockoffs and High LIft brand (at least in Calgary anyway)
