I ventured to find a good fit mounting option for my Gamiviti Expo++. I wanted to mount my jack on the side rails.

I purchased the 3" Baja Rack Hi Lift Jack mount after seeing a fellow member using the 3" Shovel Axe mount version.
The 3" height mount is .5" too small for comfort and the Hi Lift Jack is very heavy so i wasnt very comfortable with the fit.

I then ordered the 5" version from Baja Rack hoping, although larger it would be more secure as its longer and not shorter. I found that i cant get the securing bolts through because the gap for the rack side rails are too small. I then tried to use one of the mounting holes on the rack. This worked i had clamping force and a connected through a mounting hole. However, i could only use one bolt on the top of the baja bracket which made the setup less secure because the brackets are long and skinny with the clamping force at the top. This caused the brackets to swivel back and forth so this solution wasnt going to work.

Now im sure both of these will work for most people but i want a perfect fit. For the time being im running the 3" version but it really bothers me that the clamp doesnt go around the bottom of the curved bar perfectly.

The next thing im trying to figure out is the height for the FJ cruisers bracket maybe this will be a closer size. I tried researching the side bar height but i couldnt find anything.
