I just added a 2005 GX 470 to the stable. Single owner car, full dealer maintenance records, 122k. I know, I know...the color. But I'm okay with it give the condition, documentation and miles. First order of business is to take care of some things like tires, inop rear ride height control, and blown passenger side front speaker. There's a handful of other small things. I'll be poking around from time to time probably asking dumb questions so someone can yell at me to use the f***ing search tool.

Cheers and happy driving!

Welcome to the insanity of upgrades and fixes!

Oh for the front speakers, I’ve repaired and replaced those suckers multiple times.

First, I bought foam to repair the foam around the stock oem speakers. That worked for a little while but I still didn’t like the sound.

Second, I went to a car audio shop and had them put in a cheap pair of pioneer speakers with new brackets. These lasted about 3.5 years and started sounding blown out.

Third, I went to oreilly auto parts and found these Metra Electronics AW669SP car speakers 6x9 that say they are 4-8 ohm compatible. I’ve had them for almost two years and they sound okay. $17/each speaker back in 2020

Depending what is wrong with the air suspension and your goals you may want to delete it and convert to springs. How inoperable are we talking? It doesn't look like it's riding on the rear bumpstops or anything.

The light on the dash stays at N, no matter what button I push. The airbags are full, but I never hear the compressor. I haven’t done any troubleshooting, might be something silly easy.

Welcome to the group from the Baltimore area.
if yo are not a part you should also join the facebook group GXOR... there is a VA chapter as well.

Welcome.
Nothing wrong with Old Lady Gold! lol
The previous owner mentioned that’s what his kid called my GX so I named it Olga.
It doesn’t look quite as gold to me with some black accents either.
