Hi guys! I've been a long time browser. Finally decided to register. I saved my 1998 lx470 from being sent to the junkers last year before the winter. She was not running when I acquired her. It was just a fuse. Shes been faithful to me ever since. Over the year I've done a whole lot of maintenance that the previous owner neglected to do.
Maintenance I've done so far.
-O2 sensors
-Front and rear brakes pads and rotors
-Replaced front wheel bearings
-front lower ball joints
-tie rods
-rear u joint. (3 times now within 20k... if anyone knows why it may be going bad, I would like your input. Thanks)
-4 tires
-replaced spare tire carrier
-Full tune up
-replaced timing belt, waterpump, all seals and tensioners
-suspension spheres
She needs a whole lot of bodywork. The previous owner hit everything but the lottery. I am beginning my search for replacement parts and accessories. I have big plans for here. It's going to be an awesome journey. I will have some better pictures up soon.
