While out for lunch today, I bumped into Carl Crowley. He said he had just been to the Cobb County court regarding a case that he has and asked me to say hi to every one for him. Additionally, he said that he may not have a Cruiser anymore, but keeps busy restoring a boat.

I did not ask what kind of boat he is working on; the conversation was just too short. Carl has not changed so I recognized him right off. However, my failure to age gracefully gave him several uncomfortable seconds after I spoke to him; he paused trying place this fool that knows his name.

PS Even if you know where his truck is now, it may not be there for long. I just saw a post with the Upstate chapter to sell a FJ60 for the cash-for-clunkers price or it will be sold to that program for scrapping. It looked like a nice solid 60, so it will be a shame for it to meet that end.
