Hey y'all,
This forum has popped up a few times in my google searches so i figured i should join. I am a die hard toyota owner. Mostly cars. This new project is centered around my retired 97 camry with a siezed 5sfe 2.2. The rough plan with the motor is a basically stock rebuild with low compression hyperutectic pistons (if they exist) and slap on a t04b turbo for a 150-200hp output. Due to budget restraints the stock camry suspension will be retained with the exeption of fabbing up new rear uprights to accept the front hubs but retain the rear brakes if possible. The rear hubs will be used up front, i am hoping that i will be able to retain the struts and springs with a possible front to rear spring swap being the only needed modification. For the frame i plan on using a heavily modified 1950 dodge frame. Basically building this thing from what i have lying around in the yard i do have to buy some steel for the cage part of the frame, but that's about it. So anyways thats project camrail..
