I sold my 40 a year ago, but I plan on buying a new one that I would like to restore. I'm looking to gain some knowledge about restoring a cruiser by giving someone an extra pair of hands. If anyone has a project in the Raleigh, NC area let me know. I would love to help out and learn a little at the same time.

Justin, stay posted for HAMOM (Help a Member of the Month), we have one every month and it's usually very useful knowledge. Besides that I am sure there are a few guys here that would be glad to have a extra hand with there resto or even project trucks. I'll let them chime in.

whatchya got for me maria?

We are working on two different Fj40s.

One is a 72fj40 and we are mainly working on the body now since the chassis is ready...we need to weld and grind, paint and put tub and the rest of the body together.:bounce2:

The other one is a 79 fj40 (flinny)..it is half way disassembled. We are swapping the engine with a better running 2f, doing a lot of body work, and once is running we are doing a SOA.....

After we finish with those two projects we have a fj55 waiting in line with a fj60 as a parts donor for engine, power steering, axles, etc.

The welder we bought will be delivered on Tuesday next week so we are waiting on that to keep going...

Let us know if you are still interested in stopping by...!!

Maria
