Hey yall I have an 02 Nissan xterra it has plastic trim and plastic bumbers I spray painted it black last year and it worked great but it now worn off.I have seen people use spray bedliner to paint them.does it work? Is there any kind of prep work I have to do? I really don't no much about painting ,I'm always in pastures driving through tall grass ,some mud and rock so the old paint just came right off.I'm looking for something tough that will hold up. Thanks for the help

I used Rustoleum spray Bedliner on all the plastics on my land rover. I sanded and sanded and sanded some more first. Cleaned it with denatured alcohol then painted it without primer. Looked great and lasted great (even in the brutal Texas sun) until a little high school girl made an unprotected left turn in front of me because it was more important to text "lol" to her friend than drive. I'm about to do the same to my '05 Xterra.
