Hey gents,
nedd some advice PLEASE!!!
Im attempting to replace the lower tranny cooler line (88 FJ 62), which was BROKEN at the furrel just before the flex line.
My problem is where the line connects into the tranny. Its stripped like a MOTHER FU@#ER!!!! I stripped it with the flare nut wrench, then since that happened, I tried a vice grip figuring "well, it needs to be replaced anyway" Now the VICE GRIP wont hold on it. Was planning on cutting the line off at the nut and bakcing it out from where the whole schebang bolts into the tranny, but couldnt get anything in there to cut it with...So I tried to drop the drive shaft...those bolts WONT BUDGE without stripping them too. So I stopped and came in to ask you all what I should do.
I did get the flex line out!!!!:bounce2:

Im pretty wound up, so I hope this makes sense.

Id really appreciate any info...Flame it you want, I deserve it.
