My LX has been knocking for little while now and i couldn't figure out where the sound is coming from. it only happens on reverse turning left and right. i feel its coming from the front end but when my mechanic heard the knocks, he lifted up and went straight to the drive shaft area. couldn't figured it out. i however, checked the axle boots, no leak or tear, bearing repack was done 60k and now it has 80K.
